Code of Practice for the Kenya Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Industry

International media focus on promotion practices has resulted in increased scrutiny of the practice world over on the operations of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices industry. Enactment of anti- corruption and anti-bribery laws that have a wider jurisdiction of enforcement.

Public Relation Committee

The communication and public relations committee mandate is to enable KAPI to engage with the relevant healthcare stakeholders in a coherent and responsive manner.

Policy & Trade Committee

The policy and trade committee mandate is to enable KAPI to engage with the relevant stakeholders on policy and trade matters in a timely and responsive manner.

Regulation Committee

The research and regulation committee mandate is to enable KAPI to engage with the relevant healthcare stakeholders from an accurately informed position addressing issues in a proactive and responsive manner.

Compliance Committee

The compliance committee mandate is to enable KAPI drive the promotion and embedding of ethical principles and practices in the pharmaceutical industry in Kenya.

KAPI Executive Committee

The KAPI Executive Committee mandate is to provide leadership and guidance to the KAPI membership towards the realisation of KAPI’s mandate as articulated in the KAPI Constitution, KAPI’s Vision and Mission Statements.
